The name & Logo
The name originated as ITAF Consultants - Brain storming for a name that would cover the services we offer, we took inspiration from the IT Audit Framework guide by ISACA on our desk which inspired the acronym ITAF - IT, Audit and Finance. Later this was re-branded to CITAF, changing the Consultants to a pre- instead of a suffix.
The Logo can be interpreted as the Crescent for the letter C, the three stars the lines of business (IT, Audit and Finance), or in GRC the three lines of defense (1st, 2nd and 3rd) all of which services we can provide.
